Main Street Bagels (MSB) offers a warm, welcoming and homey atmosphere with its eclectic furnishings to its endless options on the menu. It is a place for everyone and anyone, especially for those who love tasty food.

All college students know, a perfect study place is all-dependent on two vital components. First off, it is always essential to study at a place that has coffee and sustenance on hand. MSB is known for nothing less. It has plenty of choices on the menu from your plain Jane bagels to smoothies and coffee. It might not be the most inexpensive place for food, but it is quality food.

Their bagels, bread, pastries and cookies are freshly made every morning. MSB takes pride in making delicious goodies. Even though it is a bagel place they are also known for their peachy cinnamon rolls. It is a perfect treat for a mid afternoon study session.

Secondly, most of us recall that location is valuable to homebuyers so why would not that be just as important for poor college students in need of coffee and bagels? MSB is less than two miles away from campus and only a seven minute drive. Sometimes it is best to get off campus and study somewhere outside of school and MSB is the place to be. It is an ideal spot to work on homework or study for an upcoming exam.

“I like MSB because they have great food and a cozy environment. It is a very relaxing place that is good for studying and doing homework, or getting something to eat after a long day. They are very relational with their customers and sometimes that can be hard to find in a coffee shop and restaurants. I also appreciate that all of their bagels are pastries are homemade. I don’t know if I can say what I like to eat because I’ve only been twice, but the cinnamon bagels are really good,” Lilli Turton, a customer from MSB, said.

MSB is a staple piece to the Grand Junction community and culture. It is a place where students study vigorously, business meetings happen, parents treat their kids to cookies and retirees enjoying their peaceful mornings reading the newspaper with a cup of coffee. It is a place for everyone; even dogs. It is a local’s go-to for any and every occasion. Next time trade in your bagel from Walmart for something more local. I promise you will not regret it.
