Colorado Mesa University hosted their third annual Glow Party on Friday, Aug. 23, as a way to celebrate the end of the first week of school.
“We have had DJ Hubb on campus quite a few times,” Programming Activities Council (PAC) chair, Brennan Probsdorfer, said. “He did the Glow Party last year and it went great, so we wanted him back.”
After a turnout of over 1,200 students last year, PAC hoped to get just as many for this year’s celebration.
Students used glow sticks, paint, and powder for the glow, while DJ Hubb supplied the party with plenty of bass and lights.
Students of all ages were welcome, with many showing up wearing white, and leaving covered in colorful glow powder.
“We love seeing all different people come each year,” said Probsdorfer. “It’s always a very high-energy event.”
