Back after the holidays and swinging right back into the groove of school, Colorado Mesa University has a week of events for every student.
For all the sport fanatics
The Mavericks have several games this Friday.
At home, the Mavericks will host CSU-Pueblo for a wrestling match at 6 p.m.
CMU men’s and women’s swimming and diving are on the road at the University of Denver. Women’s and men’s basketball will be at Metro State University and the women’s team will continue on to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Saturday. Saturday brings in another home event for the Mavericks with Colorado School of Mines coming for a wrestling match.
For all the culture junkies
For students who want to dive into the theater culture, there is an event happening this weekend. It is called ‘Mesa Lab,’ a student- and guest artist-created work, with performances in the Mesa Experimental Theater on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

And for all students on campus, there is the Winter Welcome Week. The Programming Activities Council is starting these events off with Coffee and Donuts on Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. in the University Center (UC).
Wednesday will be Glow Dodgeball from 5-9 p.m. in the Maverick Pavillion.
Thursday will be Pub Night at Twisted Turtle from 8-11 p.m. for those 18 and older.
Friday the students can end their week with flapjacks from 9-11 a.m. in the UC.
