During the month of September, CMU’s Club Advisory Board, CAB, is hosting Club-tember.
One of the ways Colorado Mesa University implements this is through clubs. There are over 100 clubs on campus with everything from Greek life, to major-specific clubs, and clubs for your hobbies.
Director of Club Advisory Board Shelby Rios says, “I believe I can speak for all of CAB when I say that we are all very excited to have a month dedicated to our clubs and giving back to them through events, funds, and prizes.”
The month kicks off with a Club Fair on September 6th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in The Plaza. Stop by between classes to meet with different clubs and see where you can call “home.” The club leaders will be there to answer any questions you have and to get to know you.
On September 15th, you can look forward to an Outdoor Game Night. You don’t have to be a part of a club to join in on the fun, so come by Elm Quad from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to compete. The top three competing individuals and the top three competing clubs will win prizes.
To wrap up the month, come to the second floor of the University Center on September 21st at 5:00 pm for a club Cocktail Hour. This social hour is an excellent opportunity for club members to interact with each other and the club advisors.
There will be light snacks available and alcohol for those who are of age.
