Some may remember hearing about, or perhaps even participated in, the blanket making event last semester.

Circle K International is an organization of dedicated university students who are passionate about making a difference. In a step towards that goal, the Colorado Mesa University chapter hosted the return of Project Linus in the University Center Ballroom on April 3.
Chick Fil A nuggets, hot chocolate with marshmellows, music and tons of people made the event complete.
At the 6:30 p.m. start of the event, a stack of blanket making materials towered against the far ballroom wall.

As people began trickling into the event, blankets were cut and tied up.

As blankets were completed, a new stack of blankets was created. Throughout the evening, as the pile of newly created blankets grew, the tower of blanket materials dwindled.

Overall, the event provided an opportunity for students and community members to get together, eat good food and work towards making a difference.
