Mavericks! This week contains one special day. Just a reminder that WEDNESDAY is Valentine’s Day. Now there is no reason for anyone to forget.

But, Thursday is even more important. For Thursday is when all the candy goes on sale. Since that is the best part of Valentines Day anyway.
The Outdoor Program is showing the love with a Valentine’s Day XC skiing adventure at Grand Mesa. This will be one of the last few full or new moons that they will be having this trip.

This weekend there is a ski trip. The OP will take students to Red Mountain in Ouray.
This weekend the CMU Mavericks will have a transfer into spring sports. Saturday and Sunday CMU baseball will take on Dixie State.

Saturday Women’s lacrosse will play Fort Lewis and Sunday Metro State University will be up against the CMU tennis team.
Wednesday, since it is Valentines day, there will be a table in the University Center hosted by the Sociology club. This table will go from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and students can buy a flower and get a free goodie bag for a loved one or yourself.
Thursday night from 8-11 p.m. PAC is hosting a Pub Night at the Point.

On Friday there will be another event at the Point. Residence Hall Association is hosting a Rocket League tournament. There will be a split screen and it will last from 7-11 p.m.
Friday there is also the dance company class that is open to all students.

This week the guest artist who is choreographing a piece for the Spring Into Dance performance will be leading this class. You do not need to know how to dance to join in, for it is a way to get moving and experience another department.
Wednesday there will also be a culture cafe in the library. This week is Jordan. There will be snacks and a speaker during this cafe.
Financial planning will be on its second week and focusing on cash flow planning. Tuesday night the informative videos and information will be presented from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the UC center room 221. Wednesday will be at the same time and same place. Check out the halls for club meeting times.

Reminders! Monday is the last day to withdraw from first module classes. Thursday is the last day to add or drop a late start class. Oh, and Valentine’s Day is Wednesday.
