The blind Bulgarian clairvoyant Vangeliya Pandeva Dimitrova, also known as Baba Vanga, has been known for her predictions of many major world events throughout her lifetime. Before she died 20 years back, she made predictions up until 5079, which is her idea of when the world is going to end completely.
Her powers surfaced when she allegedly was sucked up into a tornado as a young girl and found later in a field with her eyes covered in dust from the storm causing her to go blind. However, there isn’t exactly any proof of this event happening, so it is a sketchy story to hear at first.
Although I do believe there are less actual clairvoyant people or people who claim to have supernatural abilities, out there compared to a number of frauds, I feel there are some people who have this special ability to see things others cannot. It perplexes me and I will never fully understand the depth of this ability, but I do feel it exists.
As for what she has seemed to have predicted that has come true, it is extremely shocking. She has been said to predict 9/11 in 1989 saying that, “The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds.”
That seems too accurate to believe that she is a hoax. It doesn’t stop there either. She also predicted that in 2016, Europe would be attacked by the Islamic State Group. How she predicted these things is mystifying and pushes me away from thinking it is all a hoax.
In the summer of 1994, Vanga’s last interview took place which she requested to be kept secret until the new century. In the interview conducted by Anatoly Lubchenko, Vanga claims some very scary things to happen in the future.
“The end of the world will happen in nine years, the Earth will turn away from the Sun, so the ice will appear in previously hot places, many animals will die. The people will fight for energy, but their spirits will be strong enough to stop fighting. And then the time will go back,” Vanga said. This is only one of her many future predictions to come that are a bit unnerving.
Although Vanga seems to have predicted plenty of things to come true, there are many things that didn’t come true as well. Her prediction about World War III, for example, was definitely wrong. She predicted World War III would begin in 2010 and end in October of 2014. Something about some of the things she has predicted for the future seems unlikely as well. She specifically predicted that Hungarians will communicate with aliens in 200 years. She also predicted that Europe would be completely gone and diminished by 2016 which has not happened.
Although some of her predictions are eerily true, some seem like complete nonsense to me that are never going to happen. There are also too many strange flaws in how she became psychic with her being sucked into a tornado as a young girl.
She may have truly been clairvoyant, but there were plenty of flaws in her foreseeing of the future.
