As the 2016-2017 school year rolls into action, Stampede Week is not the only week full of fun and exciting events for CMU students.

In addition to other events- such as the undie run, foam party and heart the hump- CMU hosted a movie night. Outside of the University Center the event was complete with popcorn, goodie bags and a movie.

The night’s pick was a comedy that had everyone talking at the beginning of

summer: “Neigbors 2: Sorority Rises.” Throughout the film students continuously burst into laughter that would be carried on until the final scene.

“[It was a] hilarious movie that had [us] laughing the whole time,” CMU seniors Brooke Lucero and Jessica Hoecherl said.

About half-way through the movie there was a surprise guest; rain. Rain began to fall and some of the students were not having it. Fortunately, for those who decided to stick it out, the rain subsided and the

movie played on. Rain decided to make an appearance a couple of times throughout the movie, but students still laughed and stayed until the very end.

CMU has more movies nights planned for the semester, so keep an eye out for more information about the next one.
