Mirror mystery

The infamous mirror in the parking garage at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) has once again vanished into thin air, leaving students and faculty scratching their heads.

This isn’t the first time the mirror has gone missing, but the reasons behind its intermittent disappearing act have remained as elusive as ever.

Rumors have swirled around campus as to where the mirror might have gone. Some speculated that it had developed wanderlust and was off exploring the world of reflective surfaces, while others theorized that it was simply tired of seeing the same old cars day in and day out.

“I parked here just yesterday, and the mirror was perfectly fine,” said confused student Kent C. Strait. “Now it’s gone again, and I feel like I’ve entered some parallel parking universe.”

University officials were quick to respond to the situation, launching a full-scale investigation complete with magnifying glasses and Sherlock Holmes hats. However, their efforts were in vain as no clues were found regarding the mirror’s whereabouts.

“We take the disappearance of our parking garage mirror very seriously. We are doing everything in our power to ensure its safe return to its rightful place,” head of the CMU Department of Reflective Studies Eaton Beaver said.

After several days of baited breath and suspense, the mirror mysteriously reappeared, much to the relief of everyone involved. However, the joy was short-lived as rumors began circulating that the mirror might decide to leave again soon.

“It’s like a bad breakup,” sophomore Cinnamon McMenamin said. “One minute it’s here, and the next, it’s gone without a trace. I just don’t know if I can handle the emotional rollercoaster.”

Despite the uncertainty looming over the parking garage mirror’s future, one thing is for certain: its adventures, whether intentional or not, have captured the attention of the entire campus. Students and faculty alike are keeping a close eye on the mirror, ready to solve the mystery of its disappearances once and for all.

In the meantime however, cars continue to park haphazardly in the absence of the mirror, creating a chaotic yet strangely artistic display of vehicular positioning. As for the mirror, only time will tell if it decides to stay or vanish into the reflective unknown once again.
