On October 23, 2019 at 8:00 AM, the Cultural Inclusion Council (CIC) signed a written statement regarding the racial discrimination occurring across universities in Colorado.
CIC strives to foster an open, respectful, and accepting campus through our educational and inclusive initiatives. On Nov. 21, we will be hosting a “Cultural Differences Panel.” The idea of the panel is to have the difficult conversations about culture and ethnicity. We plan on discussing culture appropriation, culture appreciation, equity v. equality, proper terminology, and much more! We will be posting more information on the event as it comes.
