CMU’s Commercial Ensemble took the stage at Warehouse 2565 on the night of Tuesday Nov. 18. The Commercial Ensemble provides a place to participate in music for all, even non-music majors. They perform all around Grand Junction and are currently featured in Warehouse 2565’s performance series. Commercial Ensemble 1’s performers from left to right were Cas Knight, Bonnie Duffy, Taegan Metz and Kiaya Ludwig. Killing it on the trombone was Zander Grant. They are called Red Rock Rhythm. The group sang eight songs throughout the night, including “This Love” by Maroon 5 and “Carry On Wayward Son” by Kansas. They sang songs written by smaller modern groups as well: “Denim Jacket” by Sammy Rae and the Friends and “Good Kisser” by Lake Street Drive. The second group is called Red Rock Roots and consists of direction by Ivan Gygi (Not Pictured). (Jordan Messler)
