The stage is set for three of the Mavericks athletic teams as they head into the postseason.
The Colorado Mesa University (CMU) Softball team won the regular season conference title and will host the tournament May 5- May 7. They will play the winner of Metro State University- Denver (MSUD) and University of Colorado- Colorado Springs (UCCS) at 5:30 p.m. MSUD and UCCS will play at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The Mavericks men’s lacrosse team as Westminster College earned the right to host the tournament coming down to tiebreakers with CMU. The Mavericks got the second spot in the tournament and they will play Colorado State University- Pueblo on May 6 at 7 p.m in Salt Lake City, Utah. The winner of that game will face off against the winner of Westminster and Adams State in the championship game.
The women’s lacrosse team will head to Denver,Colo as Regis University hosts the RMAC tournament. The Mavericks will play on May 6 at 4 p.m. against the Mountain Lions of UCCS. The winner will go against either the Rangers of Fort Lewis College in the championship game.
All tournaments will be streamed on the RMAC Network throughout the weekend.
