The new Culinary Arts Building was inspired by the three story St. Mary’s Building.
They will be tearing down the University Center parking garage for this project.
Heads turned and tensions rose this past week as Colorado Mesa University (CMU) announced a plan to tear down the parking garage.
The head of CMU’s Parking Department, who wished to remain anonymous after a mob of students was seen demanding his head, doesn’t know what the problem is.
“I mean we’ve got like seven other parking lots,” he said, “I think that’s enough. Right?”
The parking garage was five levels high and capable of containing hundreds of cars, as well as making it easier for student workers in the UC to walk to their jobs.
The Culinary Arts department refused to comment, but a tweet was posted simply saying, “Suck it science majors! Our building is bigger!”
