What do you want to do with your degree?
I might do a master’s degree after this one, probably in finance. I would like to be a manager or a trader.
What’s different about the night life and going out in Grand Junction versus back home?
What definitely is different is the house parties. Back home, usually you just go to a friend’s place, drink a little and then go to a club. It’s not often you spend the whole evening at a house party. I like that a lot. It’s so socializing and easy to talk to different people. When you’re at a club, you’re just dancing, but I like both.
What’s the difference between American and German beer?
American beer has so many different flavors. The variation is bigger. We have pils (pilsners), that’s what almost everybody drinks in Germany. The taste is kind of different.
What’s your favorite beer that you’ve tried so far?
I like the Goodnight IPA at Ale House and the Hefeweizen at Kannah Creek. It’s kind of similar to German beer.
Would you rather go back in time and meet your ancestors, or go into the future and meet your great grandchildren?
I think I would rather go back. I think you could learn a lot from their experience and the social conditions there would be very interesting to see. I would like to talk more about important topics with my grandparents.
What is the difference between American and European girls?
What I like about girls from Colorado is that they do a lot of sports and outdoor stuff and I think that’s pretty cool.
What outdoor sports do you like?
I really like mountain biking and canyoneering.
Favorite American movie?
I have two, Lucky Number Sleven and Snatch. They are great.
