Cafe Sol incorporates locally grown

If you are what you eat, then customers of Cafe Sol are locally grown, economic and fresh.

It begins with a meal featuring produce grown in nearby farms and ends with licked-clean plates. The dollar stays in the community, and bellies are full.

Cafe Sol’s goal is to “provide you with as much locally grown, organic and fresh ingredients as we can.” This is made easier for Cafe Sol by partnering up with Field to Fork– a community-supported agriculture farm.

Cafe Sol’s most appealing feature is the bike delivery service, which runs anywhere downtown from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Standing true to the all-local mentality, Colorado’s own crafted beer and wine are the only alcoholic options served at Cafe Sol.

The menu is of good size and variety, appealing to both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.

The meals are a decent proportion and of a truly fair price. Cafe Sol would be a great place to take the family for a healthy, low-cost meal. There is patio seating for the warmer months and a bright indoor dining area for the colder months.

Bill Gates once said, “Innovations that are guided by smallholder farmers, adapted to local circumstances and sustainable for the economy and the environment will be necessary to ensure food security in the future.”

Cafe Sol– innovative, economic and different from the rest, is a worth-while restaurant to enjoy a meal at.
