Kannah boasts top-notch brews

,

There’s nothing better than having a couple brews before class.

Maybe you need a cold one to break up the monotony of your daily schedule, or maybe you need to pound a few to get through your three-hour night class.

At Kannah Creek Brewing Company, there’s a beer for every time of day, just a stone’s throw from campus.

Located just north of campus on 12th Street, Kannah offers top-notch, locally-brewed beer at an affordable price. They have seven mainstay beers, each perfectly suitable for different moments in college life.

Welcome to the beer clock. (It starts at noon. Don’t drink before lunch.)

12 p.m — Island Mesa Blonde is your choice. It’s light and refreshing, a perfect beer to pair with lunch.
2 p.m — Highside Hefeweizen is a great hot weather beer, with a hint of banana flavor, great for a pick-me-up on a hot Monday afternoon.
2:30 p.m. — One beer at 2 p.m. just wasn’t enough. The Standing Wave Pale Ale is a malty choice with a perfectly bitter finish.
5 p.m. — You’re done for the day. Order the Broken Oar IPA. You’ve earned a flavorful, highly-alcoholic brew.
9 p.m. — Grab a Pigasus Porter or Black Bridges Stout. It’s unbelievably delicious dessert beer, and it’ll put you to sleep.
Beer o’ clock — Buy a six-pack of Land’s End Amber Ale. It’s beer for anytime, anywhere.

Whatever time of day, there’s a beer for you at Kannah Creek — a beer that tastes incredible. Kannah makes the best local brews in town, and the location near campus make it easily accessible for students.

Don’t drink too much before class. But with the selection of amazing beers at Kannah Creek, you might skip class altogether.
