Impressive gameplay in “War Thunder”

You are flying down a valley in a B-52 bomber. There’s a squad behind you, and the enemy is in sight. Welcome to the world of “War Thunder.”

“War Thunder” takes place in the many World War II action games that have become popular over the last decade, taking the player from the beaches of Normandy all the way to the heart of the Eagles Nest. “War Thunder” takes the fight to the skies.

With five different nationalities to choose from and their respective air forces at your fingertips, it brings back an arcade feel that many new generation games have seem to have lost somewhere along the line.

The games physics create immersive gameplay that allows the player to take advantage of an extra dimension of movement that infantry-based war games do not allow. The almost believable combat causes hours to go by in the blink of an eye behind the keyboard.

“War Thunder” creates a fun atmosphere that is simple to begin but allows a depth of customization and play style that is hard to master. The combat includes dogfights in a player versus player death match alongside of objective-based gameplay to fight off enemy ground-based vehicles controlled by AI. Each match is entirely different from the next.

“War Thunder,” currently available free to play on Steam, is a PC-only game that is still in beta. The fluid gameplay and immersive matches are a must for anyone looking for a true player-versus-player experience.
