A donation tree

The annual Mitten Tree Project has returned to Tomlinson Library.

The mitten tree was created as a fun way to collect donated winter accessories. The event will continue until the last day of finals week.

The mitten tree stands by the library entrance and already has several items on it. Wanted items include hats, gloves, scarves or anything else that will help people stay warm. These gifts can be new or gently used. The event has been going on for several years.

“We just want to do something that would be helpful to the people,” Aimee Brown said.

If interested in donating, simply bring items and place on the mitten tree or contact Library staff.
