Bowling to support Ambassadors

CMU Ambassadors program will host their first bowling tournament on Saturday, March 3, at Freeway Bowl, 1900 I-70 Business Loop. The tournament is $25 per person, which provides shoes, three games of bowling and the opportunity to win door prizes.

“The Ambassadors goal is to bring everyone together to relax and have a good time,” Fundraising Coordinator Tad Schrader said.  “All proceeds will help support the Ambassador group to become more involved on campus and in the community.”

Registration and check-in begins at 1 p.m. The event is open to the public.

“The bowling tournament is a wonderful opportunity to not only raise money for our program, but also include the community in supporting CMU,” Schrader said. “As a group, we want to make solid connections with the community members in an inexpensive way.”

To preregister, email Schrader at tschrade@coloradomesa.edu.

The Ambassador program is composed of a group of student leaders who are given the opportunity to introduce incoming students to the school and make sure they acclimate well to the tight-knit community of campus life. The program is designed to serve prospective CMU students as well as parents of the community by leading by example and connecting students and community resources.
