As part of ASG’s special election, CMU students voted Brian Conklin as Student Trustee.

“Brian has been in ASG for almost a year now,” ASG Vice President Adrienne Barlow said. “He is a great leader. We are all very excited to see the passion he will bring to the trustee position.”

Barlow said the Student Trustee works in conjunction with CMU’s Board of Trustees to represent students. They are a nonvoting member and attend all of the board meetings throughout the year.

Conklin will be sworn in at ASG’s general assembly at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in Houston Hall room 104.

Conklin’s term as trustee will expire on July 1.
