The Club Advisory Board (CAB) will host its first Spring Student Club and Organization Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday in the University Center Ballroom.

The fair allows campus clubs and organizations to promote themselves and to raise awareness about their club to other students. Participating organizations will have their own tables and will be available to answer questions and recruit students.

The CMU Psychology Club will be one of the clubs present at the fair.

“It’s a great way for us to let students know that there is a variety of clubs on campus,” Vice President Misske Tjandra said. “It helps us promote and recruit new members, letting students know that we are available.”

The club plans to hand out schedules of their upcoming activities and out-of-state conferences.

“Our goal is to let students that are interested in psychology to get to know how to research and to enhance their understanding of what psychology is about,” Tjandra said. “There are a lot of different fields in psychology so we want them to get to know their field better.”

For more information on the Psychology Club, go to their meeting at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 in Houston Hall room 213.
