A timeless and enjoyable experience at Main Street Cafe

A few of the walls of Main Street Cafe’ are painted hot pink and bright blue. Vintage memorabilia hangs from the walls. ‘50s music plays from open to close. Hamburgers are named after classic movie stars. The ambience is lively. It’s hard to forget this restaurant.

This diner is definitely one of the least expensive restaurants on Main Street. The Café has weekday breakfast specials for only $3.25. Almost everything on the menu is under $10 and they always give their customers healthy and generous portions of food.

The food here tastes like home cooking. I’ve never been disappointed with a meal. They serve mouth-watering sandwiches, all-beef hotdogs, homemade soups and many other dishes. It’s not all meat here, though. They also serve vegetarian dishes. As an added bonus, customers are welcome to order breakfast all day unlike many places I’ve been to that stop serving breakfast a couple of hours before noon.

My favorite part of this diner is the old-fashioned soda fountain. It adds to the  unique and timeless atmosphere of Main Street Café . They won’t charge you for refills so chocolate and cherry Cokes are definitely worth trying.

The service at Main Street Café is excellent. I’ve never seen a waitress without a smile on her face, even when the restaurant is packed full of people. The employees seem genuinely happy to be serving their customers. The waitresses are quick, attentive and friendly. It’s hard to find service like this this anywhere else. One of the reasons why I’m a regular here is because I always feel welcome and I’m never rushed. The staff truly adds to the experience on Main Street.

Main Street Café provides a good eating experience all-around. They are located at 504 Main Street, and serve breakfast and lunch daily. It’s easy to see why they’ve been a celebrated business in Grand Junction for 18 years.
