Program gives students Life: Focusing on the eight “F”s

Mark Tucker, a CMU student, is eager to talk about “Life.”
“Life” is a program that helps improve lives and generates an income for people. It is not only for business majors, but everyone who wants to improve his or her life.
Orrian Woodward and Chris Brady came up with the idea from personal experience and by developing information for personal leaders. The Life program is based on faith, family, friends, freedom, finances, fun, fitness, and following.
“Talking about life, pretty much everything you do falls in the categories and needs to have a whole life. I think you need to have all eight of them, to shape or form. I think the other reason, is that someone may not be looking at all of them but at least one of them,” Tucker said.
Life is beneficial for people because it does not make any of the eight “F’s” seem easy. Instead it is explained realistically and how it is in the real world. It teaches you how to deal with it.
“Life is a community of people who are going in the same direction,” said Tucker.
Tucker joined the program to make a bigger difference in people’s lives, and to earn money.
He sees the program growing because it fills the gap between some businesses. It teaches leadership, life coaching, and also community building and networking.
“So much information is available, the program is sifting through that information to find what is valuable for people,” said Tucker.
Right now there are 15-20,000 people that have showed up for the conferences and the program is working to expand at CMU.
