MSC expands Dining Hall to accommodate students

With the construction of the new Bunting Avenue Student Housing, approximately 300 new students will be living on campus starting with the 2011-2012 school year. It was apparent that more space was needed to accommodate more students in the MSC Dining Hall. “It will be approximately 180 more seats,” Vice President of Student Services John Marshall said.
The expansion started on Monday with the construction of a drywall barrier to keep construction dust from interfering with students’ dining experience. The expansion began in order to meet an August deadline, which will be ready to seat incoming students by the fall semester.
