Intent to run forms are due this week on Thursday, March 31. If any student wants to run for a position they must turn their forms into the ASG office on the second floor of the College Center by no later than 5 p.m. There will be a candidates meeting on April 1 at 5 p.m. in ACB room 111.

On March 23, the ASG senate passed a bill to use $1,200 from the Student Controlled Reserve Fund to launch a pilot program at the Montrose campus to provide students the opportunity to use a fitness facility free of charge for the fall 2011 semester. The pilot program will allow 30 students to have access to Anytime Fitness Center in downtown Montrose for the entire semester. Students will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. If the ASG senate deems the program successful, then the senate will consider elaborating on the program and allowing the program to be accessed by a greater number of Montrose students.

Last Wednesday, March 23, the ASG senate passed a bill to allocated $3,000 to the Drama Society to be used to bring B.T. McNichol, an outstanding Broadway producer, to the Mesa State Campus. McNichol will speak in classes and teach workshops that are open to the general public.
