The glitz and glam of Vegas: Third annual Casino Night

The Office of Development of Mesa State College will host the third annual Casino Night April 9 at 6 p.m. The night will be full of games such as Texas Hold ‘em, Blackjack, Roulette, and Craps. It is open to everyone and tickets are on sale at 1450 North 12th Street for $60. There will also be a Cajun dinner, two drinks, and $200 worth of tickets.
A silent auction will also be in the works. Area businesses donated over $15,000 worth of items including jewelry, golf packages and a couple of baseballs autographed by Colorado Rockies players.
All funds earned by the Casino Night will go to various MSC scholarships.
“Historically this has been a great event. It’s a lot of fun and people really enjoy it,” said Dana Nunn, MSC director of media relations.
The night will also include a raffle drawing. The grand prize will be two season tickets and an M Block membership for the Maverick Club valued at $1000.
There will also be a chance for an additional $20, $50 worth of chips, drinks for the night and a commemorative deck of playing cards when attendees join the Mardi Gras Club.
