Colorado Mesa University Homecoming week is quickly approaching. Homecoming is the week of October 21-27. There are many events scheduled for the week.
Sunday, Oct. 21
12 p.m.– Battle of the Pitch: CMU Men’s Rugby vs. University of Northern at Rugby Field.
1 p.m. – CMU Women’s Soccer vs. Ft. Lewis at Walker Field. Free with your MAVcard.
Monday, Oct. 22
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Rowdy’s Birthday Celebration hosted by PAC at the UC West Entrance.
Tuesday, Oct. 23
All Day – Campus Spirit Contest located across campus
4 – 7 p.m. – Bubble Soccer hosted by PAC in the Alumni Quad.
Wednesday, Oct. 24
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Mini Pumpkin Decorating hosted by PAC in The Plaza
Thursday, Oct. 25
7 p.m. – CMU Men’s Soccer vs. Ft Lewis at Walker Field. Free with your MAVcard.
8 – 11 p.m. – Pub Night hosted by PAC at Warehouse 25 Sixty Five.
Friday, Oct. 26
All Day – “Mav Out” Friday. Encourage everyone to wear their best Mav gear and enter the Mav Out Spirit Contest!
7 p.m. – CMU Ice Hockey vs. Colorado School of Mines at Glacier Ice Arena. Tickets are available at the door.
5:30 – 8 p.m. – Homecoming Carnival in The Plaza. Free event for CMU students, staff, and faculty and Grand Junction community. Carnival games and activities including Dunk Tank, inflatable, bungee trampoline, and other carnival games for all ages.
8:15 p.m. – Homecoming Bonfire in the Alumni Quad.
Saturday, Oct. 27
12:30 p.m. – Homecoming Parade in Downtown Grand Junction. This year’s theme is “Mavericks – Past, Present and Future”.
2 p.m. – Inaugural CMU Women’s Wrestling Dual vs Wayland Baptist University in Brownson Arena. Free with your MAVcard.
4:30 p.m. – CMU Ice Hockey vs. Colorado School of Mines at Glacier Ice Arena. Tickets are available at the door.
6 p.m. – Student Tailgate at Stocker Stadium.
7 p.m. – CMU Football vs. Dixie State at Stocker Stadium. Free with your MAVcard.
