Pending the vote in Mesa County on April 6, dispensaries will be allowed in Grand Junction.
If the vote passes, a dispensary will be moving across the street from campus. Of course, you must be 21 years or older, but it will be accessible for any students or faculty to get marijuana.
Kush Gardens will be opening a new location in the abandoned building on 12tth across from Maverick Field.
This location will provide all residents, students and faculty with marijuana to try and lower their stress levels.
The possibilities of the authorization of dispensaries to operate in Grand Junction may influence the university to start a Medicinal Plant Study Degree Program.
Now that we have dispensaries available within walking distance, students will be smoking marijuana far more often.
