Engines revved and cars showed off paint brighter than some of the smiles flashed on the street.

This past Saturday, September 21, 2019, was Fuoco Motors’ 19th annual car show. The event took place at Downtown Grand Junction on Main Street. The show started at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 3:00 p.m.

The event started at 5:00 a.m. for the participants. “We were told to plan on being here at 5:00 a.m.” said Hunter Parrish, a Acting and Directing freshman at Colorado Mesa University (CMU). “By the time I got here half of Main Street was already filled,” said Parrish. Parrish entered his 1969 Chevrolet c10 into the competition and spent a majority of his day there.
