Flores first executive order of his second term as Associated Student Government president allocated money to purchase microphones for ASG meetings. The new microphones will record the minutes of the meetings for accurate distribution to media and interested students.
Flores ran his first campaign with a focus on transparency. In Executive Order 19-01, Flores repeated the importance he places on transparency.
“The Associated Student Government acknowledges that minutes from a meeting is the most important criteria in being transparent,” Flores said in EO 19-01. “By having accurate and sufficient minutes, ASG can better serve the students of Colorado Mesa University, WCCC, and CMU Montrose. Also, the general public has access to these minutes and ASG wants to remain professional and uphold the truth of what all representatives say during Student Senate and House of Appropriation meetings.”
EO 19-01 allocated $174.75 from the ASG Operating to fund the Word Forum USB Microphone Kit.
