Several students went all over the globe during their week off. How did you spend your spring break?
Brianna Hodges (Junior):
“I spent my spring break relaxing and spending time with my boyfriend. He is in the military and is going to a training rotation in Germany for the next seven months. We ate a lot of yummy food, binge-watched some Netflix and spent a lot of quality time together. I made the most out of my spring break with him”
Brandon Mow (Senior):
“We went all-out for our last spring break. We’re all seniors, so we had a blast together. We road-tripped to California, got a house in SoCal and then Vegas, and spent our days at the pool, beach and the city. There were about 15 of us, and it was nice just spending time with all of us who have been friends since freshman year.
Rhea Joy Santiago (Junior):
“I flew to California to meet up with my family who flew up from Hawaii. It was my first time going to Disneyland, and we even got to visit the Santa Monica Pier, which was one of my favorite spots. I got my Asian food fix which is great in SoCal, and it was overall just nice being with my family and the sun again.”
Andrea Heiney (Senior):
“During spring break, I traveled to Kansas to visit my brother and sister. We hung out with her bearded dragon named George, went to the plaza and ate some amazing food. And slept…. sleep is good!”
Nicholas Weems (Senior)
“This spring break I traveled to Europe. We took a train to four different countries. We went to Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Brussles. Amsterdam was my favorite, but the entire trip was a blast. It was nice going someplace new and exploring different countries and cultures. The food was probably the best part.”
