On Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m., there will be a meeting in The Point to discuss construction plans pertaining to Las Colonias Park.
Colorado Mesa University’s Outdoor Program will be playing a significant part in the project, part of which entails building a boat ramp on the river.
Apart from expounding upon the plans for the boat ramp, the meeting is also intended to sound out opinions from students regarding other renovations that could be undertaken in Las Colonias Park, such as water features, parking, playgrounds and other possibilities.
