As construction continues on Colorado Mesa University’s (CMU) new teaching hotel, the name for it has been chosen: The Hotel Maverick.
After all input and feedback was received from not only the campus, but the community and the university boards as well, the CMU Board of Trustees then decided on the name. Student Trustee Amara Hobbs also took part in the final discussions as the decision was being made.
