Threatt gave CMU a four-point lead as he got into the paint to convert a layup through traffic.

DC came racing right back with a three from Fasoyiro, and Nick MacDonald buried a jump shot to give the Wildcats a one-point lead. Fasoyiro continued his offensive explosion late in the first half as he gave DC a three-point lead as he got into the paint to fight through traffic to make a layup.
