The football game against the Mountaineers that was originally postponed until Nov. 14, is now canceled.
The game was originally scheduled for Nov. 7, but due to COVID-19 related issues, the game was tentatively scheduled for Nov. 14. Colorado Mesa University (CMU) and Western Colorado University (WCU) officials tentatively scheduled the game because they wanted to speak with Mesa County Public Health officials first.
WCU announced that they will be canceling the rest of their football season due to multiple COVID-19 concerns.
WCU also announced they are moving all classes online for the remainder of the semester.
