The Colorado Mesa University (CMU) football team announced their fall 2021 schedule Monday afternoon.

After a 2020 season that only allowed the Mavericks to play three games due to Covid related circumstances. The Mavericks will now get a chance to play a full ten game schedule this fall.

The ten games will be split evenly so CMU will play five games at home and five on the road.

They will open the season with a home game against William Jewell College on Sept. 4. The Mavericks will also see Chadron State, Adams State, Colorado School of Mines and Black Hills State all at Stocker Stadium.

CMU will hit the road to compete against New Mexico Highlands, CSU-Pueblo, Fort Lewis, Western Colorado and South Dakota Mines.

The football team continues to prepare for the fall as their spring practices continue.
