Colorado Mesa University will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Plaza.

“This fair is geared towards students interested in part-time employment as well as internship opportunities available during the academic school year. This event also serves our December 2019 graduates who are beginning their search for full-time professional positions,” Coordinator of Career Services Alecia Dembowski said.

The event will have an emphasis on local Grand Junction businesses, with volunteer and internship opportunities available as well.

“This event has been growing over the past couple of years, and we expect that it will grow again this year. We are on track to have right around 60 employers and organizations attending the event,” Dembowski said.

Career Services is also hosting a lunch to learn how to make the most out of the job fair on Thursday, Aug. 29, from 12:05 – 12:45 p.m. in Escalante Hall 101. Students may call the Career Services office at (970) 248-1404, or stop by Career Services in the University Center to register.
