Brooke Hodgson has cemented herself as one of the best CMU athletes of all time.

The Rio Rancho, N.M. native came to CMU in the fall of 2014 and immediately made an impact in the CMU dugout. In her first season as a Maverick. Hodgson hit a .361 batting average and knocked in 59 runs.

Now at the end of her senior season, Hodgson hits a .520 with 100 RBIs which lead the RMAC in both categories.

She is only the third athlete in NCAA Div. II softball history to hit 100 RBIs in a single season. She leads six out of nine batting categories in the RMAC and stands alone as the only batter in all of NCAA Div. II to hit 100 RBIs this season.

Hodgson also broke the record earlier on this season for most RBIs out of any other Mavericks in CMU softball history.

Recently in the RMAC tournament alone, Hodgson had seven hits while having 13 RBI’s and two home runs. She continues to dominate and will look to lead the Mavericks to a national title as they battle their way through the South Central Regional Tournament.
