Colorado Mesa University announced in a press release today Athletic Director Tom Spicer will be leaving the university. The decision was made due to changing beliefs between President Tim Foster and Spicer concerning the future of CMU athletics.

It is unknown if Spicer will move on to a different university to continue his more than 40 years of experience in educational athletics.

Foster said the university will be making an announcement soon about a possible replacement for Spicer.
