This is for readers to write the newspaper regarding any subject they feel is worth telling the Criterion and have published. It can be a response to an article, an announcement, a critique and more.
The letters WILL NOT be edited or modified in any way shape or form to protect the integrity of both the newspaper and the person writing the letter. This submission DOES NOT qualify for payment.
The letters can not exceed 800 words and are not allowed to be anonymous.
All approved letters will be published on thecrite.com but depending on space the Criterion reserves the right to exclude the letter from the print edition.
If your letter is not approved for publication, you will be given an explanation and an opportunity to resubmit.
The following items warrant immediate disqualification: attempts to incite violence, anything potentially slanderous/libelous, or mis- or dis-information.
