Outfielder, Keenan Eaton was named early on Wednesday, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Player of the Week. Eaton, through four games, carries a .562 batting average and has knocked in five runs during his 16 at-bats. He also leads the team with a .938 slugging percentage.
The senior had four hits in the first game of the season against UC-San Diego where one of them was a home run. He also has a perfect fielding percentage in the first four games.
Eaton’s hitting through the first four games also consists of nine hits, which is tied for first in the RMAC. Five of those hits have come in the form of doubles.
Last season, Eaton transferred from Wichita State and played 27 games with the Mavericks. He ended up knocking in 14 runs and three home runs with a .290 batting average through 69 at-bats.
