God is not real: True, False or Maybe?
This was the recent question posed by the Ratio Christi club as a general consensus for the student body.
At least once a month a member of the club sits at the tables in the UC with a white board and a question.
This month their vice president Haley Chapman, a junior in psychology, posed the question about whether people think god is real.
“The reason behind what we do is give people historical, philosophical and scientific reasons to believe what they believe besides just basing it on a feeling or because of what the Bible says,” Chapman said.
They are not a Christan club but rather a club for Christians, providing a safe and open place to pose questions like these.
“We believe in having healthy discussion and dialogue around some of the difficult topics that aren’t super easy to address…we love having people in different walks of life and beliefs come to our club. Some of these answer those really hard questions that don’t have super easy answers,” Chapman said.
The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6-8 pm in Escalante 243.
