Colorado Mesa University’s Ice Hockey team will host the 4th annual Pink the Rink, a fundraising event designed to support St. Mary’s Cancer Survivorship Program.
“We would love to raise $20,000 this year but our goal is to make sure we surpass the $50,000 mark for the last 4 years. That would be an incredible accomplishment for the hockey program and University as a whole. All credit goes to Chase Engdahl and the former CMU hockey players who started this Pink the Rink event and have given us the opportunity to keep it going,” Philip Flink, CMU Hockey’s team captain said.
The event will take place on Oct. 4 at Glacier Ice Arena where admission will be $10. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event will feature the annual raffle for special Pink the Rink hockey jerseys. T-shirts and concessions will be available for purchase.
