The Associated Student Government meeting on Wednesday opened with a presentation by John Beezley, the student in charge of the “laptops for veterans” service that has become a recent program at this university. He presented a fundraiser with stickers to keep the program sustained.
On another order of business, PR Club President Hunter Schoepflin was appointed the position of Senator for Language, Literature and Mass Communication by unanimous vote.
After that, students from the Criminal Justice Association gave a presentation to back up their request for $980 for firearm safety kits for the shooting range. After discussion, ASG Bill 18-10 was passed and the money request was approved, with all votes but one in favor.
