The Point delivers after high anticipation

It is safe to say that The Point lived up to all the anticipation held across campus over the past few months. The Point offers new tastes at affordable prices for students at CMU.

It became obvious they’re doing something right at WCCC’s culinary program as Crayton Edwards, a recent graduate, prepared samples for me. The ‘Greek’ naan pizza was by far my personal favorite and is a must taste for anyone stopping by The Point. The marriage of lamb and beef that make up the meal is unforgettable.

If a long day at school leaves you ravenous, a ‘yum’ rice bowl is both delicious and filling. The teriyaki-based bowl has just the right amount of tang and leaves you feeling satisfied, yet not weighed down like a meal from a fast food restaurant.

In addition to these unique creations, The Point offers some old favorites such as boneless buffalo wings and some exceptional nachos that perfectly blend cheese and beef without overwhelming heat. These staples are complemented well by tasty appetizers like mozzarella sticks and celery with hummus dipping sauce.

If you still have room, don’t be afraid to bite into their grade-A tiramisu that rivals any Italian restaurant I’ve been to.

Great local beer and wine make The Point a great stop for college students.

Also be on the look- out for specials coming soon between 2 and 7.
