Dec. 6: RAs smelled strong odor of marijuana in a resident’s room. After knocking and hearing “rattling” noises, student Robert Hockersmith opened the door while another student jumped off the second story balcony and ran. The student later returned of his own accord. RA’s discovered a marijuana pipe and open beer cans. Robert claimed ownership of the pipe and admitted to drinking beer, but both Robert and the student denied smoking marijuana. Robert was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dec. 7: Josue Serrano Pineda was arrested and released on a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia by a minor at his residence hall.
Dec. 16: Lucas Labonde, 25, was arrested at 460 N 7th St. after forcing entry into the victim’s residence causing less than $1000 in damage.
Jan. 6: CMU student reported a sex assault in a residence hall, suspect is also a student.
