The President’s cabinet has passed the Organization Inclusion Act, with signatures from each organization as well as the Student Body President Beau Flores. With the passage, the Literary Review will now be moved into Student Life and each of the media related organizations will be both closer and cooperate more.

$20,000 was approved for the project, though it is not estimated to need the entire amount. The Act is “so that Student Life can continue to welcome organizations,” Flores said.

The Criterion wrapped up their hiring process, while the Programming Activities Council (PAC) concluded their year with Spring Fling. The concert drew approximately four thousand attendees. PAC also estimated they broke the record for the most overhead double high fives in a minute, though it will take until October to verify if the record was legitimate.

KMSA hired their new general manager, while the Campus Design Studio have hired their entire staff and urged organizations to take out advertisements in their flyers for the summer. CMU-TV is also finishing up their hiring process for the next semester. They also unveiled their website with their newest videos, however it won’t be up until next semester.

Literary Review is finished up with hiring their staff, though Marketing Director was a longer process. The Club Advisory Board had a student life party to introduce the new organization leaders on Tuesday, May 7. Horizon Magazine had their launch party and are now done for the semester.

Sustainability Council is working on their Move Out Program for the end of the school year. “We collect items from dorms that people are just going to throw away, and resell them for cheap at the beginning of the school year. We’re just trying to minimize waste,” President Meghan Cline said. They are also working on a grant for an increased recycling and sustainable effort on campus.

This was the final meeting with the current leaders of the organizations present, meaning the cabinet will look very different in the fall semester.
