CMU Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams will begin the final weekend of the regular season by hosting New Mexico Highlands tonight.

The Women’s team currently stands as the second best team in the RMAC Conference with a record of 15-5 in the conference facing off against a Griffin team currently second-to-last in the RMAC with a 1-19 record.

With a win CMU looks to continue their efforts to clinch an opening round home game in the RMAC Playoffs next week.

As for the Men’s team, last week’s loss on Saturday eliminated them from RMAC Playoff contention and they currently are 12th in the RMAC with a 6-14 record. The Cowboys enter Brownson Arena with a 7-13 record, just one place above CMU in the standings.

CMU players CJ Davis and Kabir West will not be eligible to play tonight due to a suspension in consequence to last Saturday’s altercation against Black Hills State.
