Construction worker injured after falling from engineering building scaffolding

According to Dana Nunn, Colorado Mesa University’s director of media relations, at around 11-11:30 a.m. this morning, one of the men working on the new CMU engineering building fell from the scaffolding and injured his leg.

The mason fell from two stories up and was transported to a hospital. His condition is currently unknown.

The man was employed by a currently-unknown subcontractor for the project, however, the main contractor for the building is Shaw’s Construction.

A representative Shaw’s Construction could not be reached for comment.
